AN EGYPTIAN WOOD COFFIN FOR KA-DI(T)-IWN
LATE PERIOD, 26TH DYNASTY, 664-525 B.C.
Carved from a single log of imported coniferous wood, coated in black pigment, anthropoid, representing a mummiform figure, on a rectangular integral plinth and a back-pillar, wearing a voluminous tripartite headcloth, revealing the prominent ears, the broad oval face with large almond-shaped eyes, the arching brows merging with the bridge of the nose, the small mouth with full lips, a single column of hieroglyphs along the body, within a rectangular box, reading, in part: “Recitation by kA-di(t)-iwn, Justified: Invocation-offerings…God’s Servant/Prophet(??);” the lid and trough well hollowed.
I wish I could hug her and kiss her and all our problems go away every argruent and tear shed tears me down one by one I just want us to be happy and forget all the downs that we have had I I feel like every step we take forward I mess it up and we go backwards a step any ideas on how I can stop messing up with the only woman I will always love
